Just thought I'd let you all know that I have my UK OOB 112 iPhone working again on 113 with the new modem firmware. I'd tried all the unlocks but nothing had worked up until now.

I'm using a pre-pay O2 SIM, but this should also work with SIMplicity contracts too.

I downgraded from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1, jailbroke and got to 1.1.2, I'm sure you all know how to do that. I then used ZiPhone to downgrade my bootloader to 3.9, this also puts a patched version of the 1.1.3 modem firmware onto your phone. After it rebooted I got a signal which then very quickly vanished again. This was down to 1.1.2 and the new modem firmware, so I ran the dev-team upgraded and voila, my signal came back. I've now got a fully working 1.1.3 with the new modem firmware, and it's unlocked (at least to all O2 cards, I don't have any others that I can test).

Just thought that may come in handy for all you accidental upgraders who can't get signal anymore!

Big thanks to the developer of ZiPhone. Puts the Phone back into iPhone! :D
