So I took in my imac to the local apple repair place on campus...I was extremely surprised they got the parts in to fix the yellow tinge issue and scratching optical drive unit in one day. Called the guy to find out that they had all the parts and installed only for him to tell me they they broke the glass and had to order a new one and it wont be in until Monday or tuesday.:(
Im missing that thing already there is a giant space on my desk with out it and its so empty.

SO that being said is there anything I should look for when I go pick it up?

and He did the screen test I guess they use and the yellow tint WAS NO WERE NEAR AS bad as when I used one of the tests on this site.. Any ideas why that is?....their test didnt have grey bars either it was just a blank white screen I think. :apple:

what a bunch of clutz

check for dust... maybe? hopefully they do a good job of keeping any dust off the screen. I have two specs of dust on mine.
