Got My iPad :D now to convert some DVD's is this rite?

Hey,

Downloaded handbrake and VLC media player. From what i am understanding do you just tell handbrake the source is the DVD covert it too apple TV and then once the file has been created drag this into itunes and it will sync with the ipad?

Yep, pretty much. Have a look through the threads here to get the best settings, it has been covered quite recently.

That sounds about right. If the Apple TV setting doesn't work try the iPhone setting. It won't be as nice looking but it'll be smaller in size and will work on the iPad.

Out of interest why did you feel the need to download VLC with Handbrake? Don't you already have a media player?

Has anyone fixed the low volume issues with Handbrake rips yet?

I'm having to apply max +volume boost in info->options->volume adjustment to everything I've ripped to match the volume of iTunes Store downloads. Otherwise they're barely audible.
