got my iPhone 6s wet

i went to a pool party and jumped in with my phone i immediately took it out and left it on the side. this was saturday afternoon.

i finally got home on sunday night and put it in rice lol
didn't seem wet anymore but i just hope it works

can anyone tell me what else i can do?
i don't have insurance on it and idk if apple would cover me?
what can i do or say if my phone doesn't work?

its been over 24 hours sitting in rice
and I'm nervous to take it out

If you did not purchase Apple Care + and your iPhone 6s is not working, Apple will not repair it. Instead, they will sell you a refurbished 6s. If you're lucky, the phone may work but may have problems. Again, you can always purchase a refurb from Apple rather than a new phone.
