Well, it finally (and I mean *FINALLY* -- customizing the hard drive to the 160@7200 will really cost you in delivery time) arrived yesterday.
I don't see any yellow areas on the screen, I love the keyboard, and no dead pixels.
I've got the following setup on it now:
- Adium
- Firefox
- XCode
- VMWare Fusion (yes, I *have* to do visual studio work for a living
I've got a MacStyles.com mac pad ordered to cover the wrist rest area, and will probably order from MyTego.com something for the back of the LCD.
I'm also going to get Adobe creative suite for school.
So now, I'm wondering what other things people find essential?
I've heard of Aurora to use the mac as an alarm clock, which sounds nice (at least for the imac, which we also recently purchased).
I've also found textmate, which looks promising for programming.
What good subversion client should I use?
Any other recommendations?
Thanks!
Kevin
