I got one of those with the "yellow tint" screen...

Called support and got the run around first:

1- AppleCare: I have never heard of that. Let me call you back.

2- AppleCare: Can you send me links to posts discussing this issue?

3- AppleCare: Oh yeah, we now remember. Ok, since you have a
customized unit take it to a store and we will replace the screen ( hahahahah )

- Me: No way. I want a new one.

4- AppleCare, ok let me see what I can do.

5- Apple Care, ok send it to us and we will send you a replacement.

- Me: Nope, I need to work until the new one gets here.

AppleCare: ok, then we will hold funds from your credit card and when you ship the defective one we will release them.

Me: Fine

so here I am , after a month of waiting, waiting some more :(
 
I'm sorry about the unfortunate experience you are having, but what do you want us to do about it?

By the way, you posted this in the Mac Pro forum. MacBook Pro≠Mac Pro.
