Well, heard my apt main door bell rang, then I pressed the button to let the FedEx guy in the building, ran to the door and waited the FedEx guy to come up through the elevator, here he goes, then I stunned! He literally rolled my imax box over like a car wheel to my doorstep, but in this case its a rectangular shape, I was devastated when I saw that, thinking a trip to the App store is destined. He didn't even use some sort of pushcart to carry this thing!

Cut my box open and wish the glass is not broken or the stand is not bent. And thank god everything is perfect. Turned it on, checked the screen and its perfect, upon inspection, the left side is slighted yellowed as opposed to the right side, its almost not noticeable if the brightness is not set very low(about 4 bars).

Used the entire afternoon, one thing I noticed, not the WD HD noise, but the temperature on the upper part of the iMac. Man! It is HOT! When I put my wrist on the top, it actually hurts. Does anyone experience this issue? Wonder what kind of temp would I get if I use windows in bootcamp.

Yes. They all get hot. Make sure you are looking at the temp gauge to find out the temperature.

The reason the top of it gets so hot is all that metal absorbing the heat.

Don't worry about it. (unless your gauge says it's to high)

Enjoy your new mac:D

I live in queens NY, imac is beside the window, pretty cool tonight. HD is 122F, CPU is 142F, GPU is 138F. I have a mini fan blowing upwards toward the back of the imac.

That sounds a little warm for the HDD. The hottest I have ever seen my 7200 RPM notebook drive get is 111F, after a 70GB time machine restore. Other temps seem normal though.
