I got the full version of Microsoft Office '97 for the PC

Does that mean i qualify for the Mac Upgrade software for the lower price ??

Or does the PC microsoft office software need to be newer to qualify for the Mac exchange/upgrade program

The reason why i'm asking is Microsoft Office is the only major software that my mom uses @ home .. I'm trying to go all Mac in the house :D  :D

Mactopia has a page devoted to upgrade eligibility.

Even if you did qualify for an upgrade, the least expensive option for you would be the Student/Teacher Edition. There's no difference between that edition and the standard version of Office:Mac.

Nadyne.

I'm not aware of any Microsoft program that will let you upgrade/exchange across platforms.
