So I recieved my Apple Watch Sport with the white band on launch day, and after wearing the watch every day since April 24th, I went to the Apple Store last night and bought the black sport band, I must say it makes the watch look so classy. I now plan to wear the black band at the office and change to the white one on weekends.

I did not think the black band would look so good on my Sport, but LOVE it!!

Sorry but was excited lol.

Cool story bro. Just kidding ;)

I exchanged my Milanese Loop for the Black Sport band and I'm really happy with the look and comfort.

Got my space grey today which obviously came with the black. I like it a lot. I may get another band down the road but this one looks nice enough for sport and work for me at least.

I actually prefer the look of the silver aluminum Sport Watch with the black sport band over the look of the Space Grey. I originally ordered the latter purely because I wanted the black sports band (and at that point didn't realize how much I would love having multiple bands), but switched to the silver once I heard about being able to trade in bands. Well I never did trade in my blue sports band, but I do now have the blue sport band, black sport band, classic buckle, and bright blue leather loop. I love the look of the black sports band on the silver aluminum casing, looks really really nice.

Also since I'm on the topic of loving my decision to switch to the silver sport rather than Space Grey- as soon as I figured how important it was to me to have multiple band options, I realized that the Space a grey is very limited (IMO Of course....) in the band pairing options it has.

I figure I have a great balance for now with the white sports band it came with and the black one I just bought. The last 2 days it is like having a new watch again because it looks so different with this band.

As far as the watch face, With the black band I went with the "Simple" face without any numbers, etc, Just the hands. With the black band it looks really good and it reminds me of my Movado but in Apple form lol.

Its amazing that the sport band which is the cheapest watch band by far also seems to be the most comfortable. I am returning the Classic Buckle I bought after one day which felt like cardboard, and will keep using my sport band. Its funny how Apple describes the leather they use as being sourced from the best leather. I am guessing that even the link band, as nice as it looks, is still not as comfortable as the sport band.

I hated the white sport band so much I returned the whole watch and was without an AW for a month.

I then re-ordered and got the black sport band and totally love it. It looks incredible.

I've also ordered (and returned, lol) every 42mm band and the sports is easily the most comfortable in my view, and the best looking. I'm currently waiting on the link band so that I can try that one.

Yep I agree the sports bands are so comfortable and look great. I actually have a white one and really like it haha. It goes with everything. But the black one looks amazing and is probably better for work. I am going to pick one up soon. I think the sports bands are very well designed and are a big reason for the Apple Watch's success. The link band does look amazing. I am curious how comfortable it is.

Me, too! There are only ever two questions: how does it look, how does it feel. If the link band is comfortable, I'll definitely keep it.

I love the smooth feel of the sports band also. Just feels quality. I love my white one still and it amazes me how the white one doesn't start to get dirty or loose the bright clean white, and I wore it everyday for a daily since April 24th. (That was my biggest fear about the white band, I really thought after a week or two it would start to look dirty and worn, but to my surprise, I was wrong)

Just received the Classic Buckle today. Wore it for about 5 hours. Sending it back. BSB is better IMO.

.... The Sport Band is nice to because if it gets wet it doesnt hurt it, But I hear the buckle and leather bands do not take to getting wet at all.

Yeah, because none of us have seen a sport with a black sport band:)
Not many people have seen a silver-colored aluminum watch with a black band, no. The black banded sport watches ship with only a space grey watch, so a black band on a silver aluminum watch isn't all that common.

Not very surprising, I don't know of any leather products that take well to getting wet, including watch bands. Any bands that hold up well to getting wet probably aren't real leather.

Same here - I returned mine today and only received it yesterday. It's funny how they speak so highly of the fine leather they use and yet it feels like stiff cardboard. I am loving the white sports band and will eventually also get a black version.

How's your Black Sport Band holding up? Any wear marks or peeling?

I have some on the longer band near the watch itself.....I'm going to pop into Apple tmr to see about a replacement.
I'm on my third replacement. My first two were really bad - completely peelimg. Hopefully they can figure this issue out. Hopefully it's a defect.

I copped a black and pink band to go with my white sport. I find myself using the pink as a daily driver with the white and black being used on random occasions.

That's funny, I'm the opposite. I got the SS watch with the black sport band and now I'm so thrilled to have the white sport band because it contrasts nicely with the tan I've gotten in the last few weeks. Congrats on your new band. Any of the sport bands look great on the Sport Watch. I'm sick of the criticisms of the Sport Watch, it's a great looking watch and possibly pops more with the black sport band than my stainless steel does.

I also got pink and blue but I'm enjoying the white one the most so far.

I think there must be bad batches because my launch day black Sport has seen some heavy usage and wear and tear in the garden and still looks great, like new except, at contact points where the band attaches to itself. Once you get a good one it should serve you well. I am very sorry to hear that some people are having problems, and some multiple times.

I got the link bracelet today and I'm thrilled with it. It's arguably more comfortable than the sports because there's no issue at all with it tugging at my arm hair, which the sports strap did.

I've semi-retired the sports strap. I think it looked great, but I don't want to be endlessly switching over. I'll use it as an emergency strap.
