I was going to buy The Guardian (British newspaper) App last night, and when I went to 'Buy' it didn't offer any sort of confirmation and just downloaded it straight away to my phone. I thought that it was a bit strange, so I decided to delete it and try again. Went back to the App Store and redownloaded, only to be greeted with the "You have already purchased this App' message. All was fine, until I looked at my credit (left over from gift cards). It hadn't been reduced. I got an invoice this morning from other purchases last night; nothing. It's missing. Anyway, I just found this a bit strange and was wondering if anyone else has mysteriously received a free App?

Yes, the App price has been £2.39 since it was released, and was £2.39 when I went to buy it last night, but clearly a glitch in the system gave it to me for free. I still haven't been charged for it.

I think you will get charged for it eventually. Maybe as its the weekend it is just being processed slower. Have you received the email receipt yet? Does it say free on that?

Yes, this actually happened to me when I went to purchase Stick Wars. I was a bit curious about it too until it deducted the money about a half hour later.
