Just wanted to share the joy (and inform any Norwegians in the forum) 
Elkjøp, Norways answer to Best Buy (biggest electronics chain in the country) started a Customer Club Weekend sale today and amongst the sales was "-20% on all Apple MacBooks (Only for the first 600 MacBooks sold)". So I went to the closest store and checked and was told it included the new 14" and 16" MacBook Pros. 30 minutes later I had ordered a 16" MBP M1 Max 32GB/1TB with a 20% discount (that was enough to get me a 3 years AppleCare for "free" and still save a few NOK).
Must be the best (and quickest) sale I've ever experienced for a Mac. Before it is even shipped. They couldn't guarantee when I would receive it as it seems Apple has not confirmed the first delivery to Elkjøp. But if everything goes well I should get it by the end of next week.
Can't wait to get my hands on my new laptop I work freelance as a graphic designer and have been getting by on my old mid-2012 15" MBP Retina that is starting to have trouble with Adobe's software. Hope this machine will be enough for my use to hold another 8 years Fingers crossed!
