Got to love living in a college town. My wife and I swapped our iPad Pros 2 months ago. She took my 2nd gen 12.9 256 and I took her 10.5 Pro with 256. We bought them right before the current IPPs came out.
She wanted the bigger size cause she loves drawing on Procreate and likes to mess with Photoshop. Well it was fine and dandy till she realized just how big it really was. Then she saw the one feature of the new Pencil. The ability to change tools with a simple double tap. She wanted a new iPad Pro 11.
So I put the 12.9 and Pencil on FB Market place asked 850 total. It was sold and I had cash in hand in less then 4 hours. College girl who had hers stolen and had to have one. Was expecting to get haggled down. Nope. That was her budget.
Went to Verizon again and cause I have an insane account 4 IPhones, 4 iPads and two Apple Watches all on the max unlimited plans I walked out with a IPP 11 and Pencil for 150 bucks. Yes loyalty pays off. And I have a very happy wife. Should I have waited for the 2020. Maybe. But I think I did good.

That is very cool I’m interested to find out how you got both of those for 150 did you have trade-ins are you paying monthly

Verizon has the IPP $ 100 off, so that’s 1000, then the pencil was was 129. I had a 140 dollar account credit for a billing error. Took the 850 from selling my 12.9 and added 150 to it. So we own it out right.

They don't go up that much, the old ones will tank though, already the 11" has dropped over $600AUD here on the used market.

I wouldn't be paying retail for a 11' now.
