so I have been harassing the local apple store day in and day out. Had my girlfriend stake the place out every morning when they opened. Finally snagged a MBP 2.0ghz today. Woo hoo, can't wait to get home and play with it.

I'm impressed that people are finding these in stock. Especially when they ship in 3+ weeks online. I guess some people are very lucky.

Wow, they didn't have a waiting list?

I'm on the list at my local Apple Store. I think there are 17 people on the list right now for the 1.83Ghz model and 9 on the list for the 2Ghz model. I'm next in line for a 2Ghz MBP.

Hopefully that'll be tomorrow.

It's a mixed bag. Someone was reporting that the London flagship store still doesn't have any on display.

no waiting list, just had to keep going in every damn day

Oh and the machine is quite, dead quite compared to my old Centrino notebook.
