Finally got it to work in the UK - They registered the wrong sim card number for it!

Just one question for those on the same network - can you manage the account on the iPad like O2? The View Account option is not there anymore...

Thanks...

For Vodafone account access its fun to sort as you can only do this by registering online. Issue here is that the Ipad does not receive the security sms mesage. The work around I used was to go to a Vodafone store and get them to register your number on a normal sim then get the text. Once you have this you have 20 mins to set up your account so do this in store then they need to reregister your sim in the Ipad.

This worked for me and now I can access online account details and use BT Open Zone.

thanks for the replies - was wondering if I had done something wrong. I hope they update it soon - as although the Vodafone 3G is better than O2 - O2 account is soooo much easier to handle on the iPad.

Thanks again!!

If you want a microsim on Vodafone you are better going to the store. They'll sort everything out for you. Also asked the question about managing your account on ipad and the Wifi. The store staff are great and Vodafone does have one of the best networks in the UK. Speaking from experience on having an O2 iPhone and a Vodafone iPhone. Now have both iPad and iPhone on Vodafone!!!
