GPS Kit 2.0 is a sweet app, they finally got some of the features that I anticipated in a good iPhone GPS app including: Topo Maps and GPX output.

I'm glad someone finally made a proper GPS app. The only thing I wish they would do better is sell just the waypoints module by itself so my friends can upload their waypoints and I can look at them. This functionality definitely makes my iPhone more addicting than usual.

Just thought I would let all you iPhone people know of a program worth a consideration. Also, if you have version 1.0, you will want to upgrade as soon as possible. Finally iPhone GPS functionality is starting to approach the quality of actual stand-alone GPS systems.

I saw it updated for me a couple of days ago, but had not looked at it since. The topo maps are awesome!

I cannot wait to get outside with this!

Does this have a offline database for maps? Are there any programs like that?

I have the touch and while google maps is nice when wifi is around..it would be even better with a offline database.

I don't need all the satellite images....just street and directions.
