I have the above and yes it finds me ok, and moves when I am driving.

I can set the directions to home and click on the symbol to find me and it moves along the purple route.

If I click on start though and get the directions where I have to click the arrow after each step. Does this work with the gps locate me?

I know it doesn't do turn by turn or voice, I have been using tom tom on my mda vario 3. I can manage with the google maps on my iphone but would like to know the way others are using maps.

Cheers

after you click on "start" click on the locate button again so it "lights up". then just follow the purple line (you won't get turn by turn directions still, though)

So when I click the arrow to move to next instruction will the locate me still update along the purple line?

Not very often I am in the car without a mate, so hard to test.

Thanks

ok i just tested it out and it looks like clicking on "next" turns off the locate icon (not bright blue anymore) so i'm guessing the answer is no.
