Hi,

I just installed X-GPS to check it out, and it said I'm somewhere close to Chicago and I live in danmark and still there.. heh

Closed the app and checked Maps afterwards, and its the same.

Any ideas? Its X-GPS that ****ed it up or my phone is just being weird atm?

(software version 2.2)

Once regular google maps put me driving around NYC, when I was in the UK. So, it's probably just messed up signals that caused this.

I was driving through Irvine, California (in Orange County) a couple of weeks ago when the street names suddenly switched to Spanish and the grid became unfamiliar. When I could pull over safely and investigate, I found that the iPhone thought I was in Argentina, about 75 miles inland of Buenos Aires. A quick restart solved the problem.

GPS do weird things no matter what kind of device it is. It sucks when you depend on it and it doesn't work.

Thankfully the iPhone still has the good old internet so you can look up directions.
