gps with turn by turn instructions.. already out there somewhere.. any time soon?

Has anyone heard if this type of app will be available anytime soon for the 3G?

I've heard that telenav may be coming out with one by Dec 1st, but requiring monthly fees.. or maybe a tom tom app too...

I guess nothing exists now that can do this, jailbroken or otherwise?

I don't know of a legit App in the App store right now. Tom Tom did say that they were working on one but didn't say when they would release it. I have no clue as far as jailbroken apps go.
