I'm going on a long trip next week and I thought that a GPS system would be handy.

Can I use a GPS dongle from the MS Steets and Trips or any other?

What software is good?

This is probably in the wrong forum :/
Thanks!

thanks, i was just looking into that.

I'm just going to get the 30 day trail of parallels. Is it simple to uninstall once the trial is over? Can I put it on a external HDD (USB)?

unless they just updated parallels, the latest stable version (1970) doesn't support the built-in BT on the MB or MBP. i tried BT dongle without any success since parallels' usb support is very limited and OS X tends to remain in control of most usb peripherals.

perhaps you'd have better luck with a usb gps, but now i just use my cell phone for navigation.

you can find a lot more info on forums.parallels.com.
