Hey !

I have been busy trying to make everything work performance wise (WIN 8.1 on Mac Pro 5.1)

Right now I am in the proces of checking that the GPU (Gigabyte GTX 970 G1) is running optimally.

For that purpose PassMark software has been used...

If you look at this chart (PassMark - G3D Mark):

https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html that geforce model is rated at 8,589

I just took all tests and got these results:

Right now my GPU isn't overclocked and running PCIe x4 1.1 because i haven't switched some PCI-e hardware around.

Am I completely retarded or is my GPU performing at like 50% of what it should?

It states 4322,7 3D Graphics Mark vs the 8,589 on the big chart...

I know that GPU performance will take a hit when it isn't optimally connected like now but that should only cause like 25% decrease in performance compared to PCIe x16 1.1 (best possible on Mac Pro) at least according to these tests.

Really hope somebody has used this software before and can help !
