GPU performance comparison 2013-current?

I've been searching Google for some benchmarks for GPU performance of MPBs between 2013 - current, and I can't seem to find anything. Just curious if anyone here can find a link.

Just trying to determine (or justify) a new MBP. I'm currently on a late 2013 which is, in all honesty, still performing quite well.

What do you need it for? For me, I don't do GPU intensive applications, and so for my secondary machines, all I ever need is something with a minimum of nVidia 9400M or equivalent, for hardware h.264 decode support. For my primary machine though I want hardware 10-bit 4K HEVC decode support, so I have Kaby Lake machines. Discrete GPU in these machines is not really necessary for me for the most part (although it can be helpful on an iMac with desktop spanning).

I notice pretty severe sluggishness from my 2014 MPB with integrated graphics driving my 4K monitor. My 2013 MBP with discrete Geforce GT 750M does much better.

I use my MBP for software development, as well as music production and light gaming. Integrated graphics are a no-go for me due to my desire to drive one or two external high-dpi displays.

Ah yes, for high dpi external screens, that would help greatly.

You could do Geekbench searches for the MBP models and check their Compute scores.

I really take advantage of the new gpu under windows 10 for gaming , and i have noticed a huge improvement going for am late 2013 maxed out 15 inch to a 3.1 2017 15 inch. (game: DayZ, going from 15-20 fps to 45-60)
