I've been using GPush for the last few days but now within the last twelve hours, my GMail has been refusing to download to my computer or iPhone but I can still view my Gmail via a browser.

My other Gmail accounts that have not been used by GPush have not been affected, so the only thing I can think is that GPush is causing this problem. Any thoughts?

I also had an issue with IMAP.

Apparently, Google doesn't allow 10 connections to their server at the same time. Since each of your IMAP folders counts as 1 connection (i.e. All mail, Sent, Trash, etc.), if you have two or more clients trying to connect at the same time Google will not allow it. The end result is that the mail won't download and it doesn't connect to Google.

By the way, I just deleted a lot of the IMAP folders I didn't use. Now I just have 'Sent' and 'Deleted' folders. So that allows all three clients (Mail app, GPush, and iPhone Mail app) to connect at the same time.

This solution above worked for me. I deleted a bunch of folders in Mail.app and then synced my iPhone - deleting those folders from my iPhone as well.
