I apologize if this has already been posted. I read the article and was a little sad all over again.

I've got a 5.5 GEN 30GB video that I'm nursing to the fullest extent. It gets usage in our car that has iPod support, and I also bring it with me on my mind-clearing cycling adventures.

Just read it. So sad! I know exactly what he means though, having an iPod really does make you connect to other iPod owners, and something about them is just different, and better than using a phone for your music, since it really is a "swiss-army knife" device.

Rest in peace, iPod classic.

Just read it. I agree with it. I still use my iPods for music listening. My friends ask me why don't I just use my iPhone. They don't get it. Music is better when using an iPod.

Jeez, anyone that careless with their iPods doesn't deserve one IMO - I still have all of mine - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, and they're all working and in good shape.
