Grabbed a Bargain Air!

So last Sat around 7AM i was surfing the PCworld.co.uk website and come accross this little beauty!

now refurb or not it was priced up at £299 ! bought straight away and 10 min later the price was back up to £749 as it is today.

Had a feeling they would pull the sale and refund my money but hey, Out for delivery today !!!

BARGAIN ! anyone else had a bargain from the wally's at pcworld?

Very happy with the delivery time as well - payed for an 5-8pm slot and when logged into the DPD tracking get -
15 Apr 2011 09:14 Nottingham Your parcel is on the vehicle for delivery
The estimated time of arrival is between 17:28 - 18:28

yep 299 for a brick ? well might be the BT phonebook that's inside as BT have managed to slim that right down

I got an ex-demo 15" MBP for £799 which was sitting next to a 15" PowerBook priced at £999.

I've also managed to get a Core Duo mini for £279, a £500 Acer PC for £79, Sharp Blu-ray player for £30 and a £200 Pure DAB radio for £35.

to add insult! on my way back from lunch i spotted a DPD van outside my work, when i asked the driver if he is dropping off at my house he said yes however he could not give it to me now as he had to deliver on the time slot

thanks everyone - this thing is quick versus my 2.2ghz MBP the SSD really makes a big change to the feel ! even Safari feels quick once again

now time to get an SSD into my MBP
