Is it normal for the picture quality from the iPad Pro 11 M1 camera to be grainy? My iPhone 12 camera takes better pictures.

Yes. Indoor or poorly lit shots will be lackluster/grainy. Well lit, still subjects should be fairly good.

Same here with 2021 12.9 & 12PM. The iPad is just not a good performer under higher ISO's you get with lower light. They do clean up well in post-processing, though (I use Lightroom).

Hi! Yes, the image can get grainy due to poor lighting conditions or when you zoom all the way in.

The issue here is that the grain is a lot more noticeable on the bigger screen on an iPad. Take your photos of the same scene from your iPhone and view them on your iPad and you’ll also notice the grain.

Yeah, no.

In low light my iPhone takes crisp , noise free photos. I’ve done this comparison in the past.
