Granfathered data plan rules?

ok, i am a 3G owner and currently the sim that i am using is my aircard.
the micro sim is never activated.

my question now is, if i activated today (micro-sim) i am entitled for the $29 unlimited for the month of (June). then the next month (July) im going to skip it. if i decided to activate again on the month of (August) will i get the same data plan? or at&t will give me the new $25 2GB plan?

To skip a month means to cancel your plan, and once you cancel that will be the end of your "grandfathered" ability to keep your $30 unlimited. You must understand, there is no putting your account on hold, either it is active or canceled. Once you cancel you will have to renew and you will not be able to renew under a plan that is no longer available.

The grandfathering is a contractless contract. As long as you keep the account active, you get the benefit of that bargain. If you skip a month then grandfathering is no longer in effect.

It works like this:

1) Activate the unlimited plan
2) In 30 days it will auto-renew.
3) If you don't need 3G that month cancel service.
4) When you do need service again activate and ATT will send over a courier to your home or office.
5) When courier arrives bend over and let him kick the weak sauce, overpriced 2G plan you know where.
6) Limp around in pain knowing that is the price for trusting ATTs word.

Nope

A's far A's i understand if your not on unlimited by the 7th then you will never get it. Though I think they will fix this problem, it's just way to messed up especially since Jobs said it when he showed us the iPad, but that's just my guess, and who knows how this will get people madder at At&t
