ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB graphics card is in my early 2008 Mac Pro. When I was an OEM PC system builder, it was not unusual to get new drivers from ATI to increase speed and stability.
I have never seen an updare for my graphics card from Apple.
Anyone know why?
Thanks,
Jim

Driver updates are usually included in regular OS X updates (like 10.7.4). There is no way to upgrade them separately.

And this is perhaps the biggest reason I always update to the latest OS, and install all the Software Updates. There is basically no other way to get driver updates. Once a new OS is released, the previous one (i.e. Lion) usually gets one more update (10.7.5 in this case) and then is never touched again.
