Graphic Card Questions

OK so I bought a MSI 560 ti computer boots and everything is grand sorta.

The computer has had three cards in it in the last couple days..

4870 1GB flashed cinebench 24.16 frames (8x or 16x)

GT430 1 GB cinebench 23.39 frames (8x or 16x)

560 Ti 1GB cinebench 23.19 frames (8x or 16x)

somethings not right here..

10.7.5/2,1/8GB

Cinebench R11.5 is a useless benchmark at this point. It is completely CPU limited -- that is, the benchmark cannot feed the GPU enough work to keep it busy, and thus an 8800 GT will score the same as a GTX 680 for example.

It's also 2 major revisions behind CINEMA 4D itself, which is up to R13 now if I remember correctly. Thus, it doesn't even represent what CINEMA 4D performance will be like.

Cinebench for OSX is a pointless, worthless joke.

I have proven that a GTX580 and an 8800GT get within 1fps of each other, sometimes the 8800GT wins !!!

Counting tea leaves is a more accurate way to benchmark video cards.

I noticed..

When all tree cards showed the same I was a bit scared.

Luxmark the 560ti is 1133 normal and the 4870 was 275 I knew there was nothing worn with the computer.
