I am hoping the rumours about the Nvidia G81 are true because that would be amazing to have inside most portable mac's and inside the iMac. If that happens we can get a bluray player in our mac's after all :) I just wonder how amazing computer games would look :)

I don't have experience using a machine with 128 vs. 256 but it isn't that much for the upgrade and you can't replace the thing later if you decide you need it. I'd say that many games will probably require or recommend the 256 or above very soon and some already do.

Graphic card

I want to buy an iMac 20". I'm told by the dealer and also by MacRumers to hold on and wait for the coming iMacs release so I'm waiting and trying to think what would be the best configuration.
Mostly i'm going to use the computer for Graphics.
I understend that at least it's best to increase RAM to 2 GB:)

If you are going to do a lot of Photoshop, worry more about the CPU and RAM configuration than the video card.

If you intend to play 3D games, then you should get the 24" iMac with the GeForce 7600GT. The 20" iMac with the 256MB Radeon X1600 is a good performer, but the 7600GT beats it even while driving the bigger display - it's worth it if you can afford it.
