Hi everybody!
This morning while switched on, a 3 year old 20" iMac G5 decided to rearrange a number of pixels on the screen. I made a screengrab that clearly shows the problem.
What I'm wondering is if this could be a software related problem or if something went *pop* in the hardware?
Resetting Pram and NVram did not make any difference.
Interestingly, the content of Finder windows appears unaffected (with exception of coverflow mode, where the glitches shimmer through the icons when scrubbing through the files).
What do you think guys? Time to purchase a new one or can this be fixed in software?
