Hi Y’all! Sitting here enjoying my amazing new iPad Pro 12.9 2018. I need to make some images and logo’s transparent and was wondering what app would me with that. I see Procreate, Pixelmator and etc. But I don’t wanna spend all this money on app’s trying all kinds, if someone could point me in the right direction.

A little more info on what I’m trying to do.. I have some logo’s and images that are already sitting on a white backgrounds and I need to white out and make the backgrounds transparent so I can use the logo’s and images else where.

Your suggestions are much appreciated!

I use Adobe Draw and my Preview on MBP. Also Adobe Sketch. One of those, I can't remember which but I played around with them until I got what I wanted. You can also delete the background in Preview on your MBP. If you use Preview and it opens as a jpeg, you can Export and change it to a PNG file.

Sorry I just did this but I can't remember what I did (step by step). But try those apps

i suggest Adobe Photoshop Mix in the app store...free and easy to remove backgrounds with a flick of the finger using the Cut tool, select the Smart tool (to let the AI select large chunks) or the Basic tool (use your finger to erase the area)...then use the Refine tool to soften the edges if needed...

...transport the image to You Doodle (another free app in the app store) ...there you can save as a .png and its all done on your ipad.
