Hi I have a Mac Pro running 10.6.8 Snow leopard. The graphics card has failed. It was an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB. Ca these be purchased new anymore? What are my alternatives for a replacement? Are there new graphics cards that will work with this OS. I don't want to upgrade my OS? Any advice/links would be appreciated. Thanks

Then you can just buy a PC version 5770 / 5870 (should be really cheap now). All you miss is just the boot screen. I think you can flash them if you want to.

Here ya go, everything from brand new to dirt cheap, take your pick.
Keep in mind that the non-Apple cards will work, just you'll have no boot screen so you'll see nothing until the system is fully loaded.
