I am looking to upgrade my early 2009 Mac Pro to eek a bit more life out of it. I mainly use if for video editing (I I use Adobe Premier CC). When I went to High Sierra it was flashed so it is registering as a 5.1 model.

It has been suggested that I upgrade my video card first, what do people think of this one?

I have heard that it works OK, but you don't get a boot screen. Is that a problem, or just when I need to run diagnostics?

Will this mean that I can upgrade to Mojave? Any suggestions for a better card?

Thanks
