Ok, so i have a Mac Pro 1,1. Installed is the Radeon x1900xt card. I recently bought a PNY GT 430 so I can play my games on the pc side only. I don't want to run that card on the mac side, thats why I have the Radeon. However, i can't install the drivers without the card in, and with the card in, none of the ports on either card works once I boot into XP. Any help will be appreciated

If you are running OS X Lion then you can simply download the Nvidia drivers there and possibly get the Windows ones too.
If not can you run both cards at the same time and use the X1900 in Windows to see the screen while you install the drivers?

I tried to get the drivers on Lion, and it wouldn't let me. Wouldn't let me on SL either. And when I boot it up in XP, video isn't output through any of the ports on either card. So I don't get any picture, and thus can't install the drivers on XP. And it won't let me while the card isn't installed, so right now, I'm lost.

Ok I can download both XP and OS X drivers from here just fine without having the GFX card: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk Try it.
If XP can't use your GFX cards try installing 7.

I can download it, but it will not allow me to install the drivers without the card installed. And when I install the card, I don't get video (from any ports on either card) when I boot it up.

Can I install the card while the computer is turned on and running(on XP)?

Is there a way to do a screen share with XP home edition(without paying for an app). That's the only other I can think of getting around it. Otherwise I'll just take the card back to Staples sometime tonight.
