I'm super late to the graphics card upgrade party!

Just got myself a NVidia GTX 680 that I'm planning to put in to my 2010 5,1.

I noticed that on the original AMD Radeon 5770, there's sled/bracket that extends out from the end of the card, so that it fits to the mounting point where the PCIe cooling fan is.

The GTX 680 that I have is shorter than the Radeon 5770. Do I need to figure out how to take that bracket off the 5770 and mount it to my GTX 680?

Mount gtx680 normally, between the pcie slot and the rear screws it is sufficiently well mounted.
