Graphics card not working properly since 10.6.7 update

I've just updated to 10.6.7 and my 5770 in a 1,1 2.66 Mac pro is behaving similar to when I first put the card in without the proper drivers installed. Specifically windows don't move smoothly around but judder around.

On another point, I've also noticed that since upgrading to 10.6.7 on both my Mac Pro and Mac book pro, both now take significantly longer to boot up. I don't trust Apple as far as I could fQ£@%ing kick Mr Jobs so I suspect this has been done for no other reason than to make the expected (at least I'm expecting) longer boot up time of Lion more acceptable.

EDIT: Thinking about it, perhaps the graphics card problem is intensional for the same reason - to make Lion feel good (perhaps I'm just in a bad mood!). Would be great though if someone could throw some light on the graphics card problem.

Update:

Just did a Software Update and it sorted it out - the only software that needed updating though was the new Final Cut x that I've installed (I had to upgrade to 10.6.7 to install it) so I think it had something to do with that (no idea why though)

Does anyone have any more info about this?

I am running Leopard on a Mac Pro tower (Nehalem) with a GT120 feeding dual monitors. Everything is running the latest software updates but something is very wrong.

One of the monitors (connected by DVI) is fine. The other (connected by mini-displayport) is not performing properly. As the originally poster stated - the most notable symptom is that when dragging and moving windows around they don't move smoothly.

The problem I am having is that unlike Windows it's a bit trickier to reinstall a graphics card driver on a mac - as far as I know they're part of the operating system.
