Graphics configuration not compatible (iMovie)

I've been having trouble with my iMovie and a game I play. every time I try to launch any it says my graphics configuration is not compatible and I dont understand why. I havent done anything to change it and I edited a video 2 hours before this happened and it was completely fine. now it is displaying this message (I'll add my screenshot here). Can anybody help me?

You might want to list what you are running (what model/year/version of mac and video card) and the version of macos.

I am running a Max OS Catalina ver 10.15.2. I think it is definitely something to do with graphics because my Logic Pro X is working fine but the graphics for the scroll bar is not working properly..
