Last time I checked my iMac was white, yet starting yesterday it has been having graphics issues. Mainly to do with the screensaver being very choppy. This also ended up happening:

Any ideas?

Well, I've had it for almost a year now. I've also been noticing redraw issues where some buttons in toolbars don't draw until they are clicked and items in the Dock get black squares over them.

Mind you, this has only started happening after I installed Leopard.

I don't know about Australia, but in the United States of Whatever - it's a one year warranty.

I implore you to get to the root cause ASAP - because I forgot with my imac, and now have 11 dead pixels, and a buggered audio amplifier to live with.

My vengeance will be re-lived through your warranty repair.

Yeah, the warranty is the same here - one year standard and three years with extended AppleCare.

Anyway, give the Archive & Install a go and that'll pretty much determine if it's a software (driver, most likely) issue. Back everything up in the meantime.
