So i thought i would at least mention this cause I just got if for Mac after FAILING with 360 (As i got to the farther levels i couldn't move fast enough to play with the controller)

Well, anywho, when i played it the first time i left it on Default Graphic Settings and it kinda choked down when starting up. Took a min or two with loading screen before play time.

I wanted to see what difference it made when i turned up the settings to high and when i clicked start game, It zipped through the load screen in about 10-15 seconds.

Back to default, it takes more like 60-90 seconds...

Why is that? When i play in HIGH it works GREAT but when i turn it up to highest i see some lag and jagged game play. Default works just as good as High but not as pretty and doesn't load as fast.

I can't explain this to you in technical terms, but depending on your specs, some games will actually perform better when on higher settings.. so it's pretty normal.

I get the same from my MBP. I decided to give LOTR Online a shot just to see how well my MBP can handle it, which it can handle it pretty decently never going below 25fps.. but actually the game is streaming while it's downloading, so I'm not sure if performance will be better when the game finishes downloading. Anyway, it's at my native resolution 1440x900, medium right now (i can't select high or highest until it's done downloading) and whenever i bring the resolution down, performance goes down.
