I am using the EFI boot patch to get El Capitan to run on my Mac Pro 1, 1. It has 16 GB of RAM but will have 32 GB by next week. I am having a problem with video and audio being out of sync like on You Tube (lip sync I believe it is called). I replaced the built in video card with a PC card I had that is NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 512 MB. Is this problem from the RAM or the video card? I have no other problems with video, colors are as they should be etc. I am using two monitors. If video card, what is the cheapest plug and play video card I can get (I don't need a flashed one. I'm fine with it not showing video on boot up). Thank you for your help.
