I have a 2.33 GHz 24" iMac (the white one) on which I've been running XP in Boot Camp. Mac OS version is 10.4.11. I've been happily playing City of Heroes with no issues until very recently. I think it was after SP3 that I started getting crazy graphical errors, polygons missing, and eventually the game and often Windows crashes. (I couldn't swear that it was after SP3 but I'm pretty sure.) The iMac has a GeForce 7600 GT and downloading the newest NVidia drivers has not helped at all. I often get a "driver crashed the system" message.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.

You may just want to uninstall SP3. I had it installed as well and it caused many game and program related problems. Just go to Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs and check Show Updates on the top. Then go down to Windows Service Pack 3 and uninstall it. You may want to back your stuff up though.

Good luck.

Thanks, that did the trick so I guess it was right after SP3 that the problems started. I still get very minor artifacts and glitches but nothing remotely like before. I appreciate the suggestion! :)
