Gratuitous CNN (Apple News) Notifications

Hopefully I have this in the right place.

I've received at least 50 of the same notifications from CNN (Apple News) in the past 20 minutes, both on my watch and on my phone.

Am I alone here, or did someone sit on the "re send" key at CNN?

Yup, same here - I posted this thread and they removed their rear or pile of papers from that re-send button apparently.

Maybe Apple News/CNN hired the guy that sent the false missile alarm in Hawaii a few weeks ago?

I disabled notifications from the News app right after I started using it. They’re definitely gratuitous with what they consider “notification worthy”.
