I am having a strange problem with an iMac 20" and would like some help.

It was being worked on, copying files and minor surfing, just fine then it just went to a gray screen. I have tried rebooting it, resetting the SMC and booting off of the restore disk 1. Is there something else that I can try?

Thanks
Christopher

I'd try booting off a system disk and running Disk Utility to see if the HD has gone faulty. If it needs repair you can try that but it seems like you may have lost your HD.

Already tried that, it won't boot from the disk, with the disk in there it will just get the the gray screen and stop. Also I have tried zapping the PRAM but all that I get is a start up tone like normal and then the gray screen.
