Great alternative to Mac Mini/HTPC

I just found out about these. Looks interesting, and fairly cheap too. The specs are fairly low, but they are absolutely quiet, smaller than the Mac Mini, and still does what it was made to do... basic web browsing, HD video streaming, maybe a music server, etc. basic stuff. And it is fairly cheap, too.

Just thought you guys might want to know about something cool I found on the intronet.

The worlds first PC-in-a-mouse . Dang is that thing tiny. That would be great pared with an SSD.

I don't really seeing it replacing a HTPC as it is still just a baseline basic PC.

But the only real question is... can it run OS-X?

I can't call this a great alternative to a Mac Mini HTPC given the specs. I did t see in my quick glance the video card specs. The Atom processor is slightly a step above your standard netbook. While it would be nice to know if it can run OS X, a question I have is whether or not it will drive a HD TV larger than 40". The mini can (current gen) but can this?

I went to check out where to buy an found for less than $200 you can get their last fen on clearance. No sign on amazon of the fit-PC2.

I just bought a shuttle pc as a little cheap htpc for the bedroom or possibly a nix box to learn on, but for kicks I'd be interested in seeing how this fit PC2 runs. As stated, with a SSD it would fly but I worry about the gpu in this little guy's place.

What this article does say is that computing and form factor is definitely going in a direction where we may not need 100 lb machines in the future.

It can run HD videos only using 20% of the CPU says my dad, who is an IT specialist who actually ordered one because he is interested in buying some for his company, so he needs to test it.

actually thanks for posting this. I was wanting a PC to go along with my G5 but I didn't want a tower or laptop. This might be what I am looking for.
