I ordered my MacBook Pro Wednesday, the day they announced Snow Leopard's release. I was kind of ticked, as it seemed all directions pointed to me, after paying $2,000 for a machine, being nickel and dime'd over $10.

Kind of frustrated, I called Apple today planning to order it, credit card in hand. The guy, very nicely said, "Ah, don't worry about it, we're going to include that free in your shipment."

:D! What great service.

i had issues with my mbp when i got. wireless issues, dodgy keys on the keyboard, dodgy mouse button. i had it in for a few repairs in a short period. and then apple just agreed to send me a new one. i was without a mac for 2 weeks during the exchange. this one has been great. i bought i tjust after the late feb 08 release, and i got a 7200 drive addes, which meant they had to build my machine special. i must have just got a dud *shrugs* at least apple compensaes for things... some companies are horrible with accepting problems.
