this drive can be had for under 200 . limit 5 for big spenders

Newegg's price for that drive has been all over the place this week.

I bought one last Saturday for $299. The next day the price dropped to $249. Then on Monday it was $349.

Today it's back down to $249.

IMO that's still a great price for that drive, and I've read reports of an SSD price war coming, but that could also mean lower quality drives from the lower-tier vendors in order to compete.

The 128GB version is only $124, that might be a good upgrade for my MBP after I move all my media to the new mini server.

I got 5 for 1100.

10 percent and 5 percent discounts so i paid 935 for 5 of them 187 a piece. I kept 3 and put two in a few minis I built for customers. There have been a lot of very good prices for ssds since april 1 this year.
