It looks like Newfoundland - where I'm from.

Obviously not sure... but that would be my first guess (kinda biased ;))

It could be anywhere. Here in the UK, there are many places that look like that.

I think it is rather cool, i also like MC Esher's work.

I'm color blind (see thread about it) and it works for me.

I also understand why (see bartelby's comment above). When your intake of colors is skewed, your mind compensates, and the results of suddenly viewing something else are then distorted, the same way your eyes adjust to dim or bright light and then give you trouble when you then change into bright or dim light.
