Great RSS Reader

If you are looking for a really good RSS reader I recommend you give Newsstand a shot. Very nice app. I'm really impressed by the feature set and "polish". It's $4.99, so I'm sure some will have issues with it not being free. But considering that's not much more than a gallon of gas and the app is really good I have no problems with the price at all.

Given my need to have my RSS stuff in sync across 4 devices (iPhone, PowerBook, iMac, and work PC), I'm perfectly happy using Google Reader. The iPhone version of the reader is quite nice, and GReader is free :)

Aside from NNW, are there any apps in the AppStore that have good syncing?
 
I second the recommendation of Google Reader. IMO it's the best RSS reader around. Why pay for something when there are free alternatives that work great.
 
The Newsgator family is pretty good, free and keeps your feeds synched across platforms. NetNewsWire on the iPhone is pretty good as is Feed Demon on the PC. The best thing is the fact it keeps feeds and read/unread synched across platforms. You can also use the Newsgator site if you don't want / can't install a reader.
 
Cool...what ever works for you. If you have something you like better then stick with it.:)

I like this app and as RSS readers go for the iPhone it's pretty darn good. But as I said, use what you like.

just downloaded manifesto and love it. It even allows you to import your google feeds. The developer is also very responsive and plans many updates. One update has already been submitted to apple.
 
Netvibes is still the best RSS for me. I can access my feeds anywhere and on any platform. Has a very nice iPhone interface and its free (http://iphone.netvibes.com/). Its not an app but is accessible via safari but you can save the web app icon on the home screen. Simply create an account and set up your feeds on your computer. Then access your account via iphone link.

I don't see a reason to pay and bloat your iPhone with an app for RSS feeds.

I've got one good reason for you- offline viewing. What about when you want to refresh your feeds right before getting on a plane so that you can read while captive for 6 hours on a cross-country trip? ;)
 
i'll check it out... i've been using "Feeds" ($0.99) and have been generally satisfied.

i'm into pretty much everything.
full text feeds preferred but not that fussed.
