Great Trouble With Win XP!!!! S.O.S

Well I just received my first MacBook PRO 2.2ghz the day before yesterday.I have to say that the OS X is really great, so for study and daily use, I will definitely switch to this "Tiger"(and Leopard in the future)

But I have great trouble with the XP system.I install a original version of the SP2, and all the driver except the i-sight driver(the camera work,but Windows doesn't recognize it). At first, all work smoothly, no problem at all.And then I tried to install games on it, just to saw how powerful is the GPU---the first is a Chinese Game,but the install operation ended in midway,and the system completely breakdown:I can't even turn off or on the screen light.

Then I tried Joan D'Arc: War and Warriors(2004).This time the install operation had no problem, and the game worked so better than my previous IBM T42 that I feel like Superman. But Then, during the game, The system breakdown once again,completely.

I used XP only for games, because I lived in China,and all games here don't have OSX version.I can't find the problem either,normally with a PC, it may be a driver problem,but as the system totally broke ,leaving me nothing to do except pushing the power button,this time I am completely defendless.So please help a poor man.big thanks!!!!!!

Although I can't specifically say what might have gone wrong, you have to remember that even though Windows is on your Mac, it's gonna still act like Windows. If Windows is quitting midway through the install, this sounds more like a software issue and not a driver issue. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you.

In bootcamp the driver cd loads some basic apple drives for the laptop components. Once XP is up and running you can install vendor specific drives for some of the more standard components like the video card. Many times this help tremendously. Try the nvidia drivers from nvidia's website and see if that improves the situation.

I have been doing a lot of research on this issue - Windows crashes due to driver conflicts/issue.

I still havent solved my problem with my Audio consistantly crashing on me. I have 2 log files that I debugged under windows.

These are the two items that keep crashing on my computer.

MODULE_NAME: KeyMagic

MODULE_NAME: RtkHDAud

KeyMagic is a software developed by apple - that is as much as I know. the HD audio drivers is the second driver crashing my computer.

I will try to see if installing third party drivers fix these problems as well.
