Man! I just woke up, and suddenly everything goes wrong with my brand new MB.
1. I start the computer, and when I see on the MR frontpage that there are new Apple ads on their website, I open their website in a new window, and BAM!
FireFox carshes, and I get the "You have to restart you computer" windows for the first time in my life on a Mac:mad:
2. When I rebooted, I used Safari, though it's slower, it doens't crash, and I'm using it now. Suddenly, my Mighty Mouse won't scroll down on MacRumors frontpage:eek: . I fixed it by unplugging it, and the scrollball hard against a piece of paper, and got all the dirt out from inside the mouse.
3. Now, my Wireless Sennheiser headphones (not junk, real good quality), start saying beep and poof noises all the time. They've never done this before:mad: . Not even on my old Windows or my shuffle (I don't believe it is the MacBook though).
4. Now my MacBook said it's first moo. How cute!

EDIT: None of this has ever happened before. Neither have I had any issues with anything else related/connected to my precious MacBook.

Better visit that Apple Store...

It's really late so I'm going to give you some random advice
Run the Hardware Test that came with MacBook
Zap that PRAM or whatever ram it is called
Re-Install Tiger
Have this MacBook replaced before it completely dies

I'm off to sleep now..if I said anything stupid just ignore it.

What? Replace my baby.
1. It is only normal that FireFox crashes once every 2nd month or so.
2. The Mighty Mouse had nothing to do with the MacBook, and it's fixed now.
3. I found out it was because the Sennheisers had it's connector smudged with dirt. Cleaned it now, and perfect crisp sound.
4. Because it mooed once for 10 seconds, doesn't mean I have to return it. He won't do it again, he promised!:D

BTW, were you joking?

The thing about OS X is that Firefox can crash, but it shouldn't give you a kernel panic. It's very rare that a piece of software running in OS X can do that to the system. I know it happens/happened in some versions of Windows, but in OS X, the program should go down, not the OS.

But a few random KP's here and there are kind of a fact of life....

Just a couple of questions -

1. Have you installed anything recently that might be impairing your MB's ability to perform its duties to the best of its abilities - like Boot Camp or something?

2. Have you run Disk Utility to repair permissions?

3. Have you zapped the PRAM?

The only things I have installed 'cept for the stuff that came on it is MSN, Office, FireFox and VLC.

I dunno what disk utility or PRAM is... :D

To get to Disk Utility, go to Applications > Utility > Disk Utilities. From their you can Repair Permissions on your hard disk.

To "zap" the PRAM (Parameter RAM), hold down Cmd-Opt-P-R at startup.

Here's a nice thread. It's probably a Guide somewhere here too.

Yup. This may not be helpful. I hate to breeaak it to you, but you have a truly messed up MB.

I don't know how all of this could happen so quickly!

You can't coddle these little bastards, Josias. The boy's in need of some corporal punishment. Don't be afraid to let Mr. Hand turn into Mr. Fist.

It never mooed again, and he's been nice. I zapped the PRAM, ran disk utility and did that memory test. There was nothing wrong with the memory, but neither have I had any further problems.:D

Yeah, I also had a screen issue which I told about in this thread, but otherwise it's been good.:D
